Erected on the site of a 15th century Bishop's Palace, right on the harbourside at the foot of a steep hill, it is entered from the rear via a cul-de-sac (with parking). From here, because of the steep rake of the hill, it is just one floor up to arrive on the second floor. There are magnificent views to be enjoyed from its front windows right across the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May, the Bass Rock and the East Lothian coast.
Completely self contained and just recently refurbished, it offers very comfortable accommodation for two persons and, we are sure, will soon become a firm favourite with any who stay there. It is also one of the few properties that you can reach by public transport.
The apartment is right on the Fife Coastal Path, which provides excellent walking in both directions. It is also ideally situated if you are attending the Pittenweem Arts Festival in August.
With good restaurants, excellent golf-courses, beautiful beaches and many, many places of interest to explore, this is a most rewarding and 'different' area of Scotland in which to holiday or honeymoon.
