Murdocairnie is a traditional farmhouse tucked away on its own in hills and woodlands, with lovely views over the valley below. It has been tastefully modernised into a spacious but snug family house with its own large enclosed garden (furniture, swing, sandpit) and is accessed by a concrete farm road.
Murdocairnie stands on a large private country Estate, the grounds are of particular delight to country lovers and is perfect for children and pets, in the Kingdom of Fife. Fife charms visitors with its peaceful countryside which frames a famed coastline of magnificent beaches, pretty fishing villages and the Medieval University and golfing town of St. Andrews. This is a great area from which to tour. The Tay Bridge takes you across to Dundee, the Angus Glens and up to Royal Deeside; while some 20 miles west the fast A9 links to the Cairngorms, Inverness and the great lochs of Central Scotland.
Walking, fishing and lazing can all be enjoyed. To allow for a carefree holiday it is possible to arrange for; meals on arrival and/or a cooking service, baby sitting and domestic help.
Heating is by electricity and open fire. Bed linen and towels can be hired. Pets are welcome.
