Kinross Holiday Cottages

There is so much to see and do in Scotland that a truly central holiday location, within easy reach of many of the country's greatest attractions, will be seen as a distinct advantage.  And if the immediate area is quiet and secluded, it becomes even more attractive.

Here, you can enjoy walks in the hills, the local wildlife (bird enthusiasts will find the RSPB Vane Farm reserve just a short drive down the road), fish the estate lochs, (or the Tay, for that matter) or play the many excellent local golf courses.  There are boat trips on nearby Loch Leven, or visit the lovely village of Falkland, with Mary Queen of Scots turreted Falkland Palace.

And that's just for starters.  Further afield,  the following delights can all be reached in under an hour:  Fife and St Andrews, Edinburgh, Perth, Gleneagles, Carnoustie (golf enthusiasts take note!) Stirling, and the famous racing circuit at Knockhill.  Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch and the Aviemore and the Highlands (ski-ing!) are just a bit further, but can all be visited for a relaxed day trip.
