Sutherland, in the far north of Scotland is a beautiful land of mountains, wild rocky coasts and white sandy beaches. There, on the Rovie Estate, midway between the cathedral town of Dornoch, with its famous golf links and sandy coast, and Lairg on Loch Shin, are three traditional stone built cottages, cosy, well appointed and comfortable.
From here, you can head north to John o'Groats, (allowing day trips to Orkney), or north west to Cape Wrath on the very tip of mainland Scotland. Fishing for both trout and salmon on the river Fleet is available by arrangement. Pan for gold at Kildonan, visit the distilleries at Tain and Brora and sample the local brew, and there is a swimming pool at Golspie. Tenants are also welcome to visit the beautiful gardens of nearby Rovie Lodge.
All cottages have been refurbished and redecorated by the new owners and all have satellite TV.
Bed linen, towels and fuel are INCLUDED. Laundry facilities (w/m and t/d) are available. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Sorry, no smoking within the cottages.

Is another modernised and comfortable traditional stone cottage facing onto its own (enclosed) pretty front garden and built against the walled garden of Rovie Lodge. It is on a private country Estate one mile west of Rogart and almost midway between the famous sands at Dornoch (golf-links) and Lairg on Loch Shin.

Is a detached cottage in a small group of three cottages one mile west of Rogart, on a private landed Estate almost midway between Lairg on Loch Shin and the sandy coast at Dornoch (famous golf links). Modernised and partly open-plan, it is entered via a courtyard with its own enclosed patio and garden at its rear.
