Step inside to discover a thoughtfully designed interior with an open-plan layout, creating distinct areas for various activities. Upstairs, the inviting master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and ensuite with both a bath and shower, while two meticulously designed twin bedrooms offer comfortable accommodations and breathtaking views of Ben Lomond. These thoughtfully appointed rooms provide a tranquil setting for relaxation, ensuring a peaceful stay amidst the stunning scenery.

A communal shower room with WC is conveniently located upstairs, providing an additional space for guests to freshen up and prepare for their day of adventures in Loch Lomond and the surrounding area. From modern amenities to tasteful decor, every detail is crafted to surpass your expectations and elevate your entire stay.

The sitting room provides access to a charming separate wing downstairs. This self-contained area features its own lounge, basic kitchen, bathroom, and flexible bedroom arrangements, making it perfect for accommodating relatives or guests seeking privacy. The wing is an optional addition, but it cannot be let separately, so it will not be in use during your stay.

Surrounded by an enclosed garden and three distinct sun terraces, each offering garden seating, Claddochside provides the perfect setting to soak in the breathtaking views of the loch and enjoy spectacular sunsets against the backdrop of majestic mountains.

It is just a short walk (approximately 140 metres) to the private sandy bay on the loch shore, guests can enjoy paddling or admiring the ever-changing scene out on the water. Keep your eyes peeled for ospreys, white-tailed eagles, otters, geese, owls, and woodland birdlife – Claddochside offers a truly immersive experience in Scotland's natural beauty.

Guests will be delighted by the range of enticing activities awaiting them just steps away. Claddochside is in the heart of the action, on the banks of the stunning Loch Lomond. With the National Nature Reserve right next door to the house, there is the opportunity to spot a variety of wild animals in their natural habitat, including; ospreys, otters, white tailed eagles, Greenland White Fronted Geese, woodland birds, owls, pine marten, red squirrels, bats and much more.

With direct access to a sandy bay and shoreline of Loch Lomond enjoy Activities on the water, such as kayaking, swimming and paddleboarding (no motors are permitted in the bay). If you are looking for a faster pace, you can take a boat tour of the loch, provided by ‘Speedboat Tours’ at Portnellan Farm.

Nearby Drymen (5 miles) is home to a variety of shops, pubs and dining options such as the Clachan Inn, and 3 miles beyond Drymen, Killearn has much to offer such as The Old Mill pub, cafe and shop which has been featured in ‘Scotland the Best’.

5 miles to the south of Claddochside lies Balloch which includes a co-op store and train station. It is only a 45-minute train journey from Balloch’s station into Glasgow for a day of sightseeing and shopping. Just beyond Balloch lies Cameron House, a 17th-century baronial mansion offering award-winning cuisine, a private cinema, championship golf course, and exclusive spa facilities.

In Balmaha further round the loch boat trips take visitors out to see the historic island of Incailloch, or hike up Conic Hill, a good, family friendly walk with stunning views. Top off a day of adventure with a hearty meal at the Oak Tree Inn.

Fans of the Outlander TV series can visit filming locations like the Devil’s Pulpit in the Finnich Glen. The red water of the Carnock Burn runs through this 100-foot-deep gorge and is quite a sight to behold.

Hillwalking enthusiasts have various options nearby, including The Dumpling (Duncryne Hill), Dumgoyne & Earl’s Seat and the West Highland Way passes nearby. If you fancy a challenge, the nearest, and most southernly Munro Ben Lomond is just a 30-minute drive away, and when you return Claddochside you can enjoy beautiful views of the Munro you have bagged!
