For an Argyll self catering holiday to remember, take the road up Loch Lomondside, through the Argyll Forest Park and then down the side of Loch Goil and you will come to Ardnahein hidden away a half-mile south of Carrick Castle, in the Western Highlands.
You will find it superbly situated on a headland at the entrance of Argyll's Loch Goil, with welcoming owners who take great pride in their house awaiting you and breathtaking views onto Loch Goil, Loch Long and the mountains beyond. It stands on its own just 200 yards from its own shingly beach at the end of a private car-track, divided into two completely self-contained halves - the cottage comprising the side and front of the farmhouse and the owners living in the other half.
Beautifully kept and very comfortable, its memory will stay with you long after your holiday is over. The whole immediate area offers superb sporting facilities including sailing, hill-walking, bird-watching, pony-trekking, golf, mountain-biking, bowling and a swimming-pool.
Heating is by electricity, with open fire for cool Spring/Autumn Argyll evenings. Bed-linen and towels and an extra Z-bed can be hired. Double-beds have electric-blankets. We regret no pets. Self catering, as with all our holiday cottages. There is a small patio with garden furniture.
