Slightly apart from the three other nearby houses, Enrick Farmhouse is set on a hillside above the River Enrick, half a mile from the nearest road making it particularly attractive for families with children and those with pets.

This is a substantial house, originally two farm cottages, which has been completely converted and refurbished to include modern comforts.
It has an oil-fired Rayburn for central heating and extra cooking facilities and a wood-burning stove to enhance the warmth and atmosphere and they have retained the original slate flooring, beamed ceilings and stripped latch doors.
It has its own private and secluded garden visited by a host of birds and roe deer, red squirrels, badgers and pine martens and there are delightful views from the large dormer windows of the double bedrooms to the birch woodlands which change colours and are carpeted with primroses and foxgloves in appropriate seasons.
Enrick Farmhouse has an ideal location in Highland countryside two miles from the village of Drumnadrochit (shop, post office, hotel, Loch Ness Visitor Centre and Urquhart Castle).
Just half an hour's drive south-west down the side of the Caledonian Canal (boats for hire) and Loch Ness from the city of Inverness (supermarkets, shops, theatre and sporting facilities) and one hour from the famous West Coast resort of Fort William (all facilities).
There is easy access to the Road to the Isles and Mallaig (car ferry to Skye) to Plockton and the bridge to Skye; to points further north such as Torridon and the Moray Coast and the Black Isle. All make this ideal for car-touring as well as walking, climbing, riding, golf, fishing and skiing in season, being just 50 minutes drive from both Aviemore in the Cairngorms and Aonach Mhor in the Nevis range.
