Cullen, which has a unique micro-climate and enjoys some of the finest weather in the area, is an ideal centre for a family holiday. The village has a rich history, especially with the connection between Cullen Auld Kirk (church) and Queen Elizabeth de Burgh, the second wife of Robert the Bruce.
Cullen has an impressive beach where you have the chance of spotting dolphins and the occasional whale in the offshore waters. It also has a golf course and plenty of shops, pubs and other facilities and some of the old railway bridges now comprise part of the national cycle network. Cullen is also the proud home of Cullen skink soup, which is well worth a try!
