Basically everything one wanted was very well provided. However to help the owner make a few improvements to the holiday experience I would suggest the following.
There could be some coat hooks provided on the doors of the bathrooms on which to hang clothes or dressing gowns which would be helpful.
The day on which the rubbish bins are emptied is given, but not the week either bin was emptied so I took both only to find only the waste was emptied and not the recycling.
Unfortunately I found several dog poo's on the drive, so the previous renters had not cleaned up after their dogs.
A list of instructions to help us understand the various heating controls, the oven and Rayburn would have been very handy.
We found it difficult to keep the rug in the sitting room straight as the sofa is very heavy and it was trapped under the larger one so we couldn't stop it moving towards the fireplace and pull it back enough. Had it not been held down by the sofa it would have been an easy task.
We would certainly come back to Little Wardie next time we can visit Scotland.

It was more than we expected, peace and quiet it was clean, and well equipped, a bed change was offered although we didn't need it, we didn't want to leave (we were thinking claiming squatters rights). Would love to come and stay again.
Unique Cottages was extremely helpful with the booking of Dunmore Cottage - particularly a we had a problem with email addresses half way through the booking process!
