The Sea Loft is in a handsome stone building at the quiet harbour's edge in Cellardyke about 7 miles south of St Andrews and an hour and a half hour's drive north of Edinburgh.

Cellardyke is a very scenic part of the East Neuk of Fife’s famous string of historic coastal villages that are renowned for their local seafood, golf courses and lovely beaches.
Erected on the site of a 15th century Bishop's Palace right on the harbourside at the foot of a steep hill, it is entered from the rear via a cul-de-sac (with parking). From here, because of the steep rake of the hill, the magnificent second floor view is just one floor up. Looking south from its front windows are great views straight across the old harbour and the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May (seasonal boat trips), the Bass Rock and the East Lothian coast.
Completely self-contained with a light and sunny interior, it offers very comfortable accommodation for two persons and is perfect for walkers, nature lovers and those looking to simply relax and unwind. It is also one of the few properties that you can easily reach by public transport.
The apartment is right on the Fife Coastal Path, which provides excellent walking in both directions. It is also ideally situated if you are attending the Pittenweem Arts Festival in August.
With good restaurants, excellent golf-courses, beautiful beaches and many, many places of interest to explore, this is a most rewarding and 'different' area of Scotland in which to holiday or honeymoon.
