Lecht Ski Resort
The Lecht is a smaller resort, magnificently situated at a height of 2090 feet in the Eastern Cairngorms and accessed by the hugely scenic A939. It is perhaps the most family-friendly of the Scottish ski resorts, as all runs come down to the car park and central meeting point.
The 18 pisted runs extend over 20 km and range from a black race piste with slalom poles and timing, through blue and red to 5 green runs with a Magic Carpet conveyor lift, ideal for beginners.
Of the Scottish resorts, The Lecht is said to have the most consistent snow, assisted by a snow-making machine. It caters for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, with ski hire, ski schools, and equipment hire.
