Set in the heart of the beautiful Dalmunzie Estate in Perthshire is Dalmunzie Cottage, a delightful detached cottage that is full of warmth and charm and is only 7 miles from the well known Glenshee ski resort.

This traditional cottage has been refurbished throughout and is now incredibly comfortable and stylish throughout. In the evenings the elegant sitting room is a great place to curl up and watch a film or read a good book whilst appreciating the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove.
Everyone can gather together for meals around the dining table in the spacious kitchen that is well-equipped with everything needed to create some culinary delights.
There is a pretty twin bedroom downstairs and upstairs is a modern bathroom, a separate WC, a further twin bedroom and an attractive double bedroom with wonderful mountain views from the windows.
Outside there is parking in the small gated garden where seating has been perfectly positioned for admiring the gorgeous views out towards the surrounding mountains.
The Dalmunzie Estate extends to over 6,500 acres in total so there is plenty to explore and walking to be had all around. An array of wildlife can be spotted including deer, grouse and ptarmigan and some visitors are even lucky enough to see eagles soaring overhead.
Also on the estate is clay pigeon shooting and even a 9 hole golf course where a very picturesque round of golf can be enjoyed amidst some amazing scenery.
Outdoor activities are on offer all year round at the Outdoor Centre at Gulabin (2 miles) with everything from rock climbing, abseiling and canyoning to a high ropes challenge, archery and air rifle shooting. They also rent out ski equipment and mountain bikes.
For anyone wishing to try out skiing or snowboarding there are 36 different runs to choose from at the Glenshee resort (7 miles) that is also used for mountain biking in the summer months.
At the Persie Distillery (12.5 miles) the pure local water is used to create three different types of gin. Tours and tastings are available for those searching for the perfect snifter. If whisky is more your tipple there are whisky distilleries to visit at Dalwhinnie (57 miles) and Blair Atholl (33.5 miles).
Braemar (16 miles) is a lovely village to wander around with some interesting shops to peruse for some authentic Scottish souvenirs to take back home. It is also home to the famous annual Braemar Gathering every September where the Highland Games and traditional music and dancing draws in visitors from all over the world, as well as Her Majesty the Queen herself.

Bed linen and towels are INCLUDED. Electricity is INCLUDED. Heating is by oil central heating (INCLUDED) and wood-burning stove (logs and starter pack of coal INCLUDED). WiFi is INCLUDED (subject to a fair usage policy) and is available in the WiFi lounge on the estate. Water is from a private source which is UV filtered and regularly tested; however (as is typical in many parts of Scotland) it can become discoloured, particularly after heavy rainfall. Guests may therefore prefer to bring bottled water to drink. A maximum of 3 dogs are welcome at an additional charge (3 large, 3 medium, 3 small). No smoking.
