Findhorn
The former fishing village of Findhorn is set on the sunny Moray coastline looking out over the sparkling Moray Firth. There is a wonderful long stretch of sandy beach that is great to head to for a walk or to explore the sand dunes.
The village sits at the mouth of the River Findhorn which is well known for its salmon fishing and there are a couple of pub restaurants to choose from, so it is ideal for sampling some fresh, local seafood.
A wide variety of wading birds can be spotted out on the mudflats of Findhorn Bay and wildlife spotting boat trips head out regularly from the marina offering the chance to see dolphins and seals up close.
