Step into Sea View House and discover a harmonious blend of contemporary elegance and artistic character. Throughout the cottage, beautiful hand-painted murals by a renowned local artist add to its unique charm.
The cottage accommodates up to 4 guests comfortably, with two spacious en-suite bedrooms thoughtfully positioned for privacy, along with an additional ground-floor WC for added convenience.
The spacious open-plan living has been thoughtfully designed for relaxation and entertainment, a great space for cooking, chatting, watching the waves or otter and sea eagle spotting from the deep window seats. Curl up by the wood-burning stove in the cosy sitting area with a leather sofa, Eames chairs & footstools and large smart TV.
The fully equipped kitchen, with a Smeg gas hob, oven, dishwasher, Siematic units and granite countertops, welcomes culinary adventures with its modern appliances and ample dining space. There is also a washer and dryer for added convenience.
Unwind in the separate, spacious sitting room, with comfortable velvet sofas, study/working area with an antique mahogany desk, small library, games and a unique feature French oak antique 'castle' fireplace with wood-burning stove and more window seats with stunning sea views.
The master 'waterlily' suite occupies the entire first floor and boasts an extra-long Auping king-sized bed and an ensuite with a double spa bath, infrared sauna, and expansive sea views. The ground floor 'machair' bedroom offers comfortable twin beds and a walk-in power shower with a rainfall shower head. All beds have hypoallergenic ‘down feel’ duvets and pillows for added comfort and assurance.
Outside, the garden provides a tranquil setting to soak in the sea views, while roadside parking for two cars ensures convenience for guests.

Sea View House was perfect for enjoying Harris. On a stormy day, it was a cosy home to enjoy and make the most of.
Fantastic location to be at seaview cottage to see and do things on Harris. Beautiful property.
The facilities were great! The tumble dryer was a game changer for us as we did lots of cold water swimming.

'We have had the most amazing weather whilst Harris and have thoroughly enjoyed the all comforts of Sea View House with all of its unique artwork and we really appreciated the very well equipped kitchen. We have seen an otter from the cottage, porpoises, eagles, green shank, oystercatchers, curlew and a cuckoo who 'cockooed' on the telegraph pole behind the cottage daily! 'Firstly I would like to thank you for letting me stay. What a lovely home! I have been to Harris before a few times but this time I spent it soley on Harris and not all over the Outer Hebrides. St. Kilda was magical and the An Clisham horseshoe walk was amazing. I also had the Harris distillery tour and that was really good as well. Eating at the Bothy was lovely - proper fine dining food, and the Harris brewery food was also lovely with big portions. The wildlife was great and absolutely loved sitting with binoculars watching the birds from the window seat. Thank you so much. '

'We had an absolutely wonderful week in beautiful Sea View House. Weather has been great and we have visited lots of gorgeous beaches & done lovely walks. The house is fantastically equipped, very comfortable and we have delighted in watching the weather, the tides, the views of the other islands and the wonderful wildlife from the comfort of the window seats. We have seen a wide variety of birdlife, including herons, great northern divers, and the charming oystercatchers. The highlight was the visits from the otters and we saw them from the house, fishing and playing in the bay! Our first visit to Harris, but we will definitely be back!'

'What an amazing spot for a family getaway. Enjoyed the amazing local beaches and our travel further afield to Hushinish beach. Kids loved the coastal walk to Rodel to see St. Clements church and they especially loved the the boat trip from Scalpay. The wildlife was amazing, highlight was the pair of golden eagles at the North Harris Observatory and a minke whale on the wildlife tour. The cherry on top was the sea eagle which appeared in the bay in front of the cottage after only being here for 1 hour! Will definitely be coming back'
'We have had a fantastic week, despite some challenging weather. We did the Northton Temple walk and we saw dolphins in the bay and a golden eagle against the side of the hill. On the Rodel walk we came face to face with a large otter, only 10 feet away! So many beautiful beaches and the ferry to Berneray and the day trip to Hushinish was well worth it. Thanks for the stay in this comfortable cottage in its beautiful position, with an otter in the bay outside!'
