Glenlivet
BikeGlenlivet mountain bike centre is located only 4.5 miles away from Tomintoul and offers the choice of two well-maintained routes for both beginners and more experienced riders.
The Blue route is graded for all ages and skill level and is capable of providing a family with an exciting days riding. This is an exciting 9km route full of twists and turns similar to that of a roller coaster ride. The concerned parent will be glad to hear that there are no jumps or drops on the route and only flowing fun.
The Red route is more suited towards experienced riders. This route is 22km long and consists of many features that are sure to keep riders entertained. It climbs right to the top of Carn Daimh, offering breath taking views of the Cairngorms before descending 6.5km of track packed with jumps and technical features.
Once you've finished your ride you can refuel at the café before setting off again.
