27-Aug-2025	The Harbour Lookout GC9 (overall)	Lovely house in superb setting., overlooking Gardenstown’s harbour and Gamrie Bay. House is tastefully decorated with all necessary comforts and equipment. Great watching the gannets dive for fish from the kitchen window, while eating breakfast. In the evenings very jolly atmosphere at harbour, children swimming having fun in the water. Fish & Chip van there and community coffee shop called Harbucks open for cakes and coffee. Jim, the owner very helpful and attentive.

26-Aug-2025	Rudh Dubh HF6 (overall)	We fell in love with the little cottage right by the sea at first sight. It really is just like in the photos: a fisherman's cottage on the rocks above the sea. We immediately felt at home and spent a wonderful week there. The furnishings are simple but high quality, practical, lovingly designed, clean, and very well thought out. We paddled our canoe through the bays, watched seals and otters, went on hikes to the lighthouse and neighboring villages, or simply lazed around on the beach. The little bench in front of the cottage is perfect for enjoying a sundowner, and even the notorious Scottish midges kept their distance. Fun fact: at low tide, the sea in the bay is a few degrees warmer than the weather forecast (perhaps because the small stream flows into it?), so we were able to swim comfortably. A place where the love and passion of its owners is palpable and invites you to come back again and again!
