Trossachs
The trossachs is the area between Loch Lomond and Callander with magnificent views over its many lochs and heather-clad hills.
There is an abundance of opportunities in this area for walking, climbing, cycling and watersports - set against a backdrop of stunning scenery. The area has an important historical background as Stirling was the gateway between the lowlands and the Highlands and Stirling Castle, perched on a high rock, was constantly attacked over the centuries by different clans (and the English) seeking to take control of Scotland.

Fantastic cottage, extremely clean and well equipped. A beautiful and peaceful setting, located in a position that allows you to travel to west and east coasts as well as north and south - also useful for dodging any forecast rain! The cottage and gardens were very much enjoyed by both humans and canines. Highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat.

This was the first time we had used unique cottages, and we were very happy with the communication we received and the details regarding the property we stayed at. The property itself was superb, we had a wonderful time and the owners of the house happened to be staying next door when we were there, and they were so kind and helpful.
