The cottage is a careful blend of traditional comforts and chic style, with all modern conveniences. You can relax in the cosy sitting room and enjoy a DVD on the flat screen television, or listen to your favourite music using the bluetooth speaker, whilst being warmed by the heat of the wood-burning stove.
Through the spacious hallway is the modern kitchen which has space for dining.
The upstairs of the cottage is equally welcoming, with two good size twin bedrooms (one zip link) and a newly refurbished bathroom. Guests have shared access to a separate Games Room with Pool Table, Smart TV and Wifi
One mile up a private drive off a quiet side road, the Garden Cottage stands at the side of the ancient stone Ashintully Castle which dates back to the 1500s and even boasts three ghosts!
Guests are welcome to enjoy the activities available in the grounds, including use of the children's and adult bicycles, brown trout fishing on the estate hill loch and exploring the 3,000 acres of land on their doorstep, which is rich in history and legend.
As well as offering such possibilities in its immediate surroundings, Ashintully Castle Cottage makes an excellent base from which guests can explore Royal Deeside, the Fife coast, St Andrews, or the many attractions of the Cairngorms and the Scottish Highland countryside.
To the south, Blairgowrie has all facilities, including a range of fine golf courses, while in the other direction, Kirkmichael offers the Cateran Trail for more good walking, with pony trekking available in nearby Glenisla.
