Overview

Greenwood is a wonderfully finished luxury cottage with plenty of rooms to relax with loved ones, cosy by the wood-burner, dine on delicious meals and embrace the peacefulness of the Cairngorms National Park. A generous boot room lies at Greenwood’s entrance, highlighting the original stone wall and offering plenty of space to remove coats and shoes.

Moving through to the sun nook area, the underfloor heating and stylish parquet Herringbone wooden floors will keep you cosy while you relax in the provided seating which looks out to the garden. Most downstairs rooms branch off this space, including the utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and storage space, a family bathroom with a double walk-in shower and bath, the kitchen, sitting room and an external door to the patio area. The stylish open plan kitchen/ dining room is well-equipped and comfortably seats more than 6 guests. Here, there’s a sofa for watching TV or gazing out at the wandering wildlife. Sliding patio doors keep the room bright and spacious while also opening to the well-kept garden and outdoor seating.

At the opposite end of the ground floor, doors open to the sitting room, where guests can sit by the wood-burning stove, or carry on through to the master bedroom, which includes a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms are separated by a shower room. A twin room with a lovely view out to the garden, and a double room with a king-size bed.

A lovely Scots Pine can be seen from the seating in the enclosed garden, as well as birds visiting the bird feeder. Watch as nature passes by and dine alfresco; hours can be spent in the garden.

A shed for outdoor storage can be found around the back of the garden. Ample parking for Greenwood is available adjacent to the front door of the cottage.
