Golspie and Brora
Golspie is a pretty little village with a good range of shops and eateries and just outside it are the Highland Wildcat Trails that mountain bikers are sure to love. Also on the outskirts of Golspie is the impressive Dunrobin Castle that has beautiful grounds to explore and interesting historical exhibits to peruse inside the castle itself.
At Brora the delightful, long sandy beach is a great place to spend some time paddling or beachcombing and there are seals and dolphins to try and spot as well. Golfers will want to try out a round on the picturesque 18 hole golf course or head to the course at nearby Helmsdale.
