Overview

West Barn highlights its original stone walls, spacious rooms and communal spaces to lounge with your loved ones. Relax by the woodburning stove, stay warm in the sauna or wander around the beautiful Borders countryside during your stay.

Enter the open-plan sitting room and kitchen space, welcomed by the underfloor heating, and hang up your coats from outdoor exploring. The laundry facilities in this area are neatly tucked away behind the wood panelling. Cook up a hearty meal in the well-equipped kitchen or settle on the sofa for a cosy night by the wood-burning stove.

Adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a spacious shower room and WC. Nearby, an external door leads out to a suntrap spot with a bench, the perfect place to perch with your morning cuppa, looking out towards Rubers Law or catching a glance of the farms' Belted Galloway cattle.

Next to the open-plan, scaling the small staircase leads to another double bedroom, with an ensuite bath and WC, and a large picture window showcasing lovely scenery.

Upstairs, the double bedroom has zip and link beds to accommodate to your party size and preference. This room also has an ensuite WC with Ordnance Survey Map wallpaper for planning new adventures. The bedroom also features an external door for extra access to West Barn.

Exiting the kitchen door, a path leads you to the detached electric sauna, which is equipped with an outdoor shower and can be used upon request. A little further down the same way is the farm's private loch. Outdoor storage for bikes and equipment is in the adjacent barn to West Cottage. Ample parking is also available outside West Barn as well as an EV charging point.

West Barns' sister property, East Barn, is also available for larger groups wishing to holiday together.
