Appin
The coast of Appin is easily one of Argyll's most beautiful spots, overlooking Loch Linnhe, which is strewn with tiny islands and the ruin of Castle Stalker, with Lismore, Morvern and Mull in the background.
There are many outdoor pursuits available in the area including boat hire, sailing, water sports, pony trekking and clay pigeon shooting. Furthermore, cycling is a great way to explore the area and bicycles can be hire from Port Appin. For the less adventurous, the area's first class scenery is ideal to relax among and there are also some excellent restaurants nearby.
