Exploring Lochaber & Ardnamurchan
Find out moreLochaber & Ardnamurchan
Heading north from Oban, you come to Lochaber, a stunning area of mountains, glens and sea inlets which witnessed some of the most dramatic events in Scotland’s history. Some of the blackest deeds took place here in Glencoe, which retains its brooding presence even now when it is a mecca for climbers and skiers.

The area also encompasses Ardnamurchan, that wild and lovely peninsula stretching to the westernmost point of mainland Britain.

A lovely property and location. The oven does needs attention turning on and off. Overall the property felt tired, externally and internally the rugs were very tired. The hot water was dangerously hot as was the towel rail in the bathroom.

We were back for the second time to this stunning location, can't get enough of it! It's well equipped, excellent wifi and overall rather comfortable. It would benefit however from some upgrades/fixes (shower doors, cabinet doors, dining table) and a bit of general TLC around the cottage and garden. Most of all, it would be great not to have to compete for a parking space every time we moved our vehicle.

We got excellent service from Lanna when booking through Unique, really helpful even with our short notice enquiry and booking at a weekend. The cottage itself as per the website was also 5 Star and we enjoyed our time there. I would be more than happy to use Unique's services again in future and to recommend that excellent service to others.
