Find out moreLochaber & Ardnamurchan
Heading north from Oban, you come to Lochaber, a stunning area of mountains, glens and sea inlets which witnessed some of the most dramatic events in Scotland’s history. Some of the blackest deeds took place here in Glencoe, which retains its brooding presence even now when it is a mecca for climbers and skiers.

Would recommend Phaup cottage unreservedly! It is clean, spacious and well equipped. It is 1 mile down a track into the forest, and so is not overlooked in any direction! A particular highlight was sitting in the conservatory watching the antics of the red squirrels. | |
